What this policy covers
The marketing website is mostly informational. If you email us or use the contact flow, we collect what you send so we can respond. The FlowState app collects the data needed to run your account and the features you use—such as profile details, flows you build, and operational logs needed to keep the service reliable.
Information we may collect
- Contact: email and message content when you reach out about the product, pilots, or support.
- Account and profile: information you supply when creating or maintaining an account in the app.
- Content you create: class plans, notes, and related material stored so the product can function.
- Technical data: diagnostics and security signals typical of hosted software (for example, to prevent abuse and fix outages).
How we use information
We use data to operate FlowState, respond to requests, improve reliability and safety, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information as a business model.
Sharing
We rely on service providers (such as hosting, email delivery, and authentication infrastructure) under contracts that limit how they may use data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public, consistent with applicable legal process.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above and protect it using safeguards appropriate to the service. Exact retention periods may vary by data category and legal obligation.
Your choices
Where applicable law provides rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, we will respond in line with those requirements. Teachers can review in-app settings for export and deletion options where available. See also Account deletion.
Children
FlowState is intended for professional movement teachers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that violates applicable law.
International users
If you use FlowState from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate, subject to law.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product and website evolve. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable channels (for example, email to affected users or in-product notices).
